$2,000 Army CA New Career Scholarship

Through the Army Credentialing Assistance (CA) program, eligible Soldiers can receive up to $2,000 each year to pursue career-focused education.

This benefit allows them to earn professional and technical certifications that enhance their skills and qualifications. These achievements not only support their career growth while serving but also greatly strengthen their employment opportunities once they transition out of the Army.

Who is Eligible for Army Credentialing Assistance?

Eligibility extends to:

Soldiers from Regular Army, Army National Guard, United States Army Reserve-Officers, Warrant Officers, Noncommissioned Officers, Enlisted are eligible to participate in the CA program
Participants must satisfy the basic Federal Tuition Assistance eligibility criteria, not be under any disciplinary actions as outlined in AR 600-8-2, and not be a contracted ROTC scholarship cadet receiving benefits, or part of the Green to Gold ROTC program
Soldiers must have sufficient service time remaining to complete the credential before their separation from the Army.

What Costs are Covered?

The Credentialing Assistance program covers all essential books, supplies, and materials needed for any approved training courses and/or examinations, up to a maximum of $2,000.00
